Welcome to Clean Hangers! The terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Clean Hangers. Clean Hangers operates this website and online store (the “Services”), including all information, content, features, tools, products, and related services provided to you, the customer. Clean Hangers is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide our Services.
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) set out your rights and obligations when using our Services. Please read them carefully, as they include important information about your legal rights and cover areas such as warranties, liability, and consumer protections.
By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use or access our Services.
1. Access and Account
By using the Services, you confirm that you are at least the age of majority in your country of residence and that you have capacity to enter into binding contracts. You may allow minor dependents to use the Services only under your supervision and responsibility.
When placing an order or creating an account, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account details and for all activities that occur under your account.
You may not assign or transfer your account to any other person.
2. Our Products
We aim to ensure that all product descriptions and images on our website are accurate. However, colours and appearance may vary depending on your device and display settings.
All descriptions and prices are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to discontinue products, limit quantities, or restrict sales to certain persons or regions in compliance with applicable law.
3. Orders
By placing an order, you are making an offer to purchase. Clean Hangers reserves the right to accept or decline your order for any reason. A binding contract is formed only when we send you an order confirmation.
If we cannot fulfil your order, we will inform you and refund any payment made. Once accepted, orders may not be cancelled except as permitted under our Refund Policy or applicable consumer law.
Products are supplied for personal, household, or business use only and may not be resold without our written consent.
4. Prices, Taxes and Payment
Prices are shown in euro (€) and include VAT where applicable. Shipping, customs, or import duties may apply and will be clearly indicated before you complete your purchase.
We reserve the right to change prices at any time before your order is accepted. You agree to provide accurate and complete billing information. You authorise us to charge your chosen payment method for all amounts due.
Promotions or discounts are valid only for the stated period and subject to specific terms.
5. Shipping and Delivery
We will deliver products to the address you provide using reasonable care and within the estimated timeframe. Delivery dates are estimates only and not guaranteed.
Risk of loss passes to you once the product is delivered. Ownership transfers upon full payment. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs, or events outside our control.
6. Right of Withdrawal (Consumers Only)
If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, you have a legal right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days without giving any reason, under Directive 2011/83/EU (the Consumer Rights Directive).
The withdrawal period expires 14 days after you receive your goods. To exercise this right, you must notify us at info@cleanhangers.eu before the period expires. You must return the goods in their original condition at your own cost unless otherwise specified.
We will refund the full purchase price (including standard delivery costs) within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or proof of return.
This right does not apply to:
- Customised or made-to-order products;
- Goods that cannot be returned for hygiene reasons once unsealed.
Business customers (B2B) do not have a statutory right of withdrawal.
7. Product Conformity and Warranty
If you are a consumer, you are entitled to goods that conform to the contract in accordance with the Sale of Goods and Supply of Services Act 1980 (as amended) and Directive (EU) 2019/771.
If a product is defective or not as described, please contact us to arrange a repair, replacement, or refund as required by law.
For business purchasers, products are provided “as is” and we exclude, to the fullest extent permitted by law, all implied warranties.
8. Intellectual Property
All content, design, graphics, text, images, and other materials on our Services are owned by or licensed to Clean Hangers and are protected by Irish and EU intellectual property laws.
You may use the Services for personal or business purposes related to purchasing our products, but not for resale or commercial exploitation without our consent.
Shopify trademarks and functionality remain the property of Shopify International Ltd. All other trademarks are the property of their respective owners.
9. Optional Tools and Third-Party Links
We may provide access to tools or links to websites operated by third parties. We do not control or endorse these and are not responsible for their content or performance.
Your use of third-party tools or links is at your own risk and subject to the terms of those third parties.
10. Relationship with Shopify
Clean Hangers is powered by Shopify. Shopify provides the e-commerce platform but is not a party to any sales made through our store. All sales and customer relationships are directly between you and Clean Hangers.
You expressly release Shopify from any liability related to your purchases from Clean Hangers.
11. Privacy and Data Protection
Your personal data is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the Irish Data Protection Act 2018.

As our store is hosted by Shopify, some personal data may be transferred outside the EEA in compliance with the GDPR and Shopify’s Data Processing Addendum, which includes appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
12. Feedback
Any feedback, suggestions, or reviews you submit may be used by Clean Hangers for marketing or improvement purposes. By submitting feedback, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use and reproduce it.
You must ensure that your feedback is lawful and does not infringe any third-party rights.
13. Errors and Availability
We strive for accuracy but may occasionally display errors or omissions in product descriptions, pricing, or availability. We reserve the right to correct such errors or cancel orders based on inaccurate information, in compliance with consumer law.
14. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to misuse our Services. Prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to:
- Violating any applicable Irish, EU, or local law;
- Infringing our or others’ intellectual property;
- Uploading malicious code;
- Engaging in fraud, misrepresentation, or unauthorised access;
- Using the Services in any way that may damage, disable, or overburden the platform.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms.
15. Termination
We may terminate your access to the Services at any time for violation of these Terms or as required by law. You will remain liable for any amounts due up to the termination date.
Provisions relating to intellectual property, limitation of liability, indemnity, and governing law shall survive termination.
16. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Services and all products are provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no representations or warranties that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from harmful components.
Consumers retain all statutory rights that cannot be excluded under Irish or EU law.
17. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under Irish or EU law.
Subject to this, our total liability to you for any loss or damage shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the product or service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as loss of profit or business opportunity.
18. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Clean Hangers, Shopify, and their affiliates, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Services.
19. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect to the extent permitted by law.
20. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Clean Hangers regarding the Services and supersede all prior understandings.
21. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and any disputes or claims arising out of them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland and the applicable laws of the European Union.
If you are a consumer, you may bring legal proceedings in the Irish courts or in the courts of your EU country of residence.
If you are a business customer, you agree that the courts of Ireland shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

22. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified in accordance with applicable law. Continued use of the Services after such notice constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
